Document every fusion joint for the record.

Easy Record-Keeping and Documentation. Now, with the McElroy DataLogger, you can log, store, retrieve, printout and even download to a PC the time, temperature and pressure, for every McElroy hydraulic fusion joint you make.

Rugged, portable, weather-resistant and easy to use, the DataLogger is functionally a handheld, battery operated MS-DOS computer. The infrared pyrometer temperature probe and the pressure transducer measure and record the heater plate surface temperatures, as well as the hydraulic cylinder pressure, during each fusion process.

It produces printouts in metric or inch formats via text or graphic format (in your choice of five different languages-English, French, German, Italian or Spanish) with its own battery operated printer. Plus, you can also download DataLogger data to a PC (DOS or Windows) for permanent data record storage, review and output.

The DataLogger is as versatile as it is reliable-designed for use on McElroy Fusion Machines No.28 up to No.2065, and other models with the addition of a retrofit adapter to connect the pressure transducer.

While DataLogger records the profile of each fusion joint, it also instructs: the DataLogger LCD display screen prompts the operator with pressure and temperature parameters for each type and size pipe and machine used before fusion takes place.

If reliable documentation is instrumental in your pipe fusion Quality Assurance program specs, the DataLogger is one instrument you really should have from McElroy Manufacturing, The leader by design.

Temperature Probe - non contact infrared pyrometer, acquires and records heater plate temperature with superior accuracy and speed, in centigrade or Fahrenheit.

Pressure Transducer - measures cylinder pressure during fusion process; quick-disconnect, contamination-free hydraulic fitting. Easy installation and use on multiple McElroy machines.

Data Storage - ample storage capacity relevant to data points recorded for each joint; more pressure variations consume more storage space. Stores data for approximately 100 8" IPS joints/ 33 24" joints. DataLogger prompts user to offload when nearing data storage capacity.

Field Packaging - DataLogger comes self-contained with hand-held unit, temperature and pressure transducer probes, field printer, NiCad battery (life 8+hours continual use; 4 hours recharge), battery charger and PC software. All enclosed in a durable, shock-resistant carrying case.
