In August of 1975, Maskell-Robbins was founded by Ralph Maskell and Bill Robbins. These two salesmen teamed up because they knew they could do a better job selling high density polyethylene pipe and fittings.

The basement of a house in Seattle, Washington was the first "office" of Maskell-Robbins. As of 2003, Maskell-Robbins now operates multiple branches throughout the Western U.S.

Maskell-Robbins also maintains the nation's largest rental fleet of McElroy Manufacturing fusion equipment. McElroy produces the butt fusion equipment used to join HDPE pipe. It is this combination of HDPE pipe and McElroy that make Maskell-Robbins unique. Since we have the highest quality materials, equipment, shop facilities, and expertise, Maskell-Robbins is a one stop full service distributor.

The emphasis of full service means Maskell-Robbins follows a project from start to finish. We evaluate and help plan with the design engineers, sell and arrange for delivery of the pipe and fittings to the jobsite, and coordinate with the contractor the fusion unit rental and technical service. In as much as we know most projects from the beginning, high customer satisfaction tends be the end result of this commitment to full service.

Since 1975, many things about the company have changed. However, our focus of selling only HDPE pipe and McElroy fusion equipment remains unchanged. This focus gives Maskell-Robbins the advantage, and allows our employees to have an area of expertise with HDPE pipe not found amongst the competition. Customers buy from Maskell-Robbins because of our knowledge and service. Since we are not trying to sell a variety of items, we are able to dedicate to the customer more time, information, and help throughout the duration of the project.
